"DEATH OF MRS. ANDREWS. Mrs. Mary Higgins Andrews, wife of Levi O. Andrews, died Thursday morning, after a week's illness, of pneumonia. She was 62 years old and had always lived in this vicinity. She is survived by her husband and six sons: Fred and Earl, of this place; Ray, of Westfield; Guy, of Knoxville; Frank and Leland, of Olean,…Y.; also two brothers, Dan Higgins, of the West, and Melanchton Higgins, of East Lawrence, and four sisters, Mrs. Abbie Chapman, of Kansas; Mrs. Jesse Montgomery, Mrs. Julia Friends and Miss Eliza Higgins, of this vicinity. The funeral was held at the late home Saturday p.m., Rev. David L. Pitts, officiating."

"AT LAWRENCEVILLE – FUNERAL OF MRS. LEM ANDREWS WAS HELD SATURDAY AFTERNOON. Lawrenceville, Pa., April 29. – Mrs. Lem Andrews died at her home here April 27 after a brief illness of a complication of diseases, aged sixty-two years. Her maiden name was Mary J. Higgins and she was married to Mr. Andrews August 17, 1873, who survived with her following sons: Fred Andrews, Earl Andrews, of this place; Frank and Leland Andrews, of Olean, N. Y.; and Raymond Andrews, of Westfield, Pa., and seven grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Chapman, in Kansas; one brother, Samuel Higgins, of Chicago, and three half-sisters, Mrs. Julia Friends, of West Jackson, Pa.; Miss Eliza Higgins, of Elmira, and Mrs. Montgomery, of Pine City. Mrs. Andrews was a valued member of the East Lawrence Christian church and a woman held in high esteem in the community. The funeral was held from the home this afternoon."
