Darcy Lee Bowden was reunited with the love of her life October 6, 2013.
She was born to Mary and Ward Allen on October 25, 1957. She married her soul mate, Douglas Bowden, October 13, 1973 and they had two beautiful children.
She is survived by her children, Preston (Karen) and Shelbie Lee; six grandchildren, Tayler, Dustin, Preston Jr, Annie, Xander and Brookelyn. She also leaves behind 4 sisters, 2 brothers, many in-laws and nieces and nephews who will miss her every day. She is preceded in death by her husband.
Her life was dedicated to her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed sitting outside, feeling the sun on her face. She worked at Northrup Grumman Corp. for 31 years where she made many friends whom she also considered family.
Services will be held Wednesday, October 9th at 11 am at the Hunter 27th Ward. 4980 West 3285 South in West Valley City. Graveside services will be held for close members of the family, following the service, at Valley View Memorial Park.
