HEFLIN, LA - Funeral services for Brenda Kaye Rowell, 64, of Heflin, LA will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Brian Opbroek and interment will follow in Little Hope Cemetery in Castor, LA. Visitation will be at Rockett Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Ms. Rowell was born April 15, 1949 in Ringgold, LA to Boyd and Joy Bates Rowell. She passed away at her residence in Heflin, LA on October 6, 2013. She was retired from Ringgold Nurse Care Center as a LPN. She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her twin sister, Linda Rowell of Heflin; sisters, Agnes Hay of Castor, LA and Priscilla Hughes of Heflin, LA; brother, Reginald Rowell and his wife, Evelyn of Haughton, LA; one niece, five nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Randy Hill, Billy Rowell, LaRoye Hughes, Scott Carter, Jerry Bates, and Anthony Hughes.
