Castor, LA – Funeral services for Agnes R. Hay, 77, of Castor, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in Rockett Funeral Home Chapel, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Twyman and Rev. David Bolyer. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Rockett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hay was born April 29, 1940 in Bienville, LA and passed away January 22, 2018 in Castor, LA.
She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Castor, LA. Mrs. Hay loved reading, quilting and cooking. She especially loved her family and spending time with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Joy Bates Rowell; and a sister, Brenda Rowell.
Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Tammy Hill and husband, Randy of Castor, LA; sons, Ricky Hay and wife, Sandy of Castor, LA and Danny Hay and wife, Karla of Castor, LA; brother, Reginald Rowell and wife, Evelyn of Haughton, LA; sisters, Priscilla Hughes of Heflin, LA and Linda Rowell of Heflin, LA; grandchildren, Kade Hay and wife, DeAnn, Karie Bradford and husband, Chris, Megan Pitman and husband, Matt, Amy McGill and husband, Rob, Autumn Dulaney and husband, Joseph, and Abby Smith and husband, Tim; fourteen grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kade Hay, Chris Bradford, Matt Pitman, Joseph Dulaney, Rob McGill and Tim Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Bradford, Will Bradford, and Dylan McCarthy.
