Mary Olmer Croushore, 90, of South Greensburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, in the Greensburg Nursing Center. She was born June 21, 1911, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Farren Olmer. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Golden Lodge. She was a 1930 graduate of Youngwood High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. Earl Croushore, in 1982; sons-in-law, Robert Makarsky and Richard Merling; brothers, Raymond and Fred Olmer; and sister, Mabel Perkey. She is survived by her children, James "Tilt" Croushore of South Greensburg, Bernice Ludrofsky and husband, Ed, of Greensburg, Shirley Makarsky of New York and Rita Merling of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Olmer of Youngwood; and sisters, Gertrude Skonezny of South Greensburg and Patricia Olmer of Youngwood. Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home Inc., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg, with Father Blane L. Resko, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic Church. Terence L. Grant, funeral director, in charge of the arrangements.
