Last Mon evening 15 Oct 1886 Mrs Martha Noy, wife of Isaac Noy, passed away after a lingering illness of over a year. She was seized with that dread disease, cancer, which terminated her earthly pilgrimage. She leaves a husband, 4 sons, and 2 daughters to mourn her death. Her funeral took place on Thurs at the Presby Church. Services were conducted by Rev R H Wharton of the ME Church. Text form Revelations, 14th Chapter, 13th verse. Pall bearers were John J Speas, Lewis Sweger, Josiah Sweger, and Jacob R Way.
