BEARDSTOWN - Clarence James Icenogle, 74, of Beardstown died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at his home.
He was born Sept. 6, 1932, in Beardstown, the son of Clarence S. and Rena M. Williams Icenogle. He married Patsy Ann Bauser Byus in 1963 in Beardstown.
Mr. Icenogle graduated from Beardstown High School in 1951. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the USS Zellars from 1952-56. He worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 20 years and as a cemetery sexton for the city of Beardstown. He was a member of Guthrie-Pierce VFW Post 1239 in Beardstown.
Survivors: wife, Patsy; three daughters, Kim (husband, Kenny) Fox, Teresa Icenogle (companion, Rod Blackwell) and Tiffany Icenogle (companion, Dave Krohe), all of Beardstown; two sons, Brian and Eric (wife, Gwen) Icenogle , both of Beardstown; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Howard (wife, Betty) Icenogle of Beardstown; and sister, Etta (husband, Reggie) Robertson of Beardstown.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sager Funeral Home, Beardstown, Mike Courson officiating. Burial: Beardstown City Cemetery.
