Funeral services for Alex C. Duchesne, 88, well-known citizen of Caldwell parish, who died Friday night at the home of his son, A. C. Duchesne, of Hebert, were held Saturday afternoon at the Duchesne cemetery.

Mr. Duchesne is survived by the following relatives: A brother, L. C. Duchesne of Rayville; three sons, Charles Duchesne, of Rayville; C. C. Duchesne and A. C. Duchesne, of Hebert; 29 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
