Mary F. Geiger, 89, of San Luis Manor, Green Bay, formerly of Reedsville, died Tuesday, December 8, 1992, at the Manor after a brief illness.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 1992, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, Father Nicholas Johannes officiating with burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery at Kasson.

She was born March 22, 1903, in the town of Maple Grove, daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Burich Dvorachek. She was married to Frank Geiger on October 19, 1926, in Reedsville. She farmed in the town of Maple Grove until 1958, when she moved to Reedsville. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, Reedsville, a Charter Member of St. Mary's Christian Mothers, Brillion, the St. Anne's Alter Society of Reedsville, the Catholic Knights Branch 83 of Brillion and was president of San Luis Manor Resident Council of Green Bay.

Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law Alice and Joe Hoyer, Brillion, Audrey and Joe O'Neil, Green Bay; three sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Lorraine Geiger, Reedsville, Joe and Lorraine Geiger, Raymond and Shirley Geiger, all of Brillion; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Adolph and Caroline Dvorachek, Reedsville; five sisters-in-law, Rose Dvorachek, Milda Dvorachek and Rose Geiger, all of Brillion, Adela Dvorachek, Whitelaw, Cecelia Pritzl, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Oscar and Grace Rappel, Sheboygan. Her husband Frank preceded her in death on December 1, 1935. Also preceding is one son, Francis, in 1958; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Joe, John, Frank and Steve.

Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday and on Friday from 7:45 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The St. Anne's Alter Society Rosary will be at 7:45 p.m., followed by the Parish Vigil at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The Geiger family extends a special thanks to the staff and volunteers of San Luis Manor for the tender loving care given to Mary.
