She married Louis Adam Tille on November 12, 1937 in Nelightanelope, Nebraska. They lived in Knoxville for several years and then moved to a farm north of Lovilia. They adopted two boys. Alfred and Kenneth. They also cared for Caroline, the boys sister.
Lorraine was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed celebrating her families' birthdays by always sending cards. She spent a lot of time collecting newspaper articles about her family. She was a member of Living Word Fellowship Church.
Louis died at his home in Lovilia on July 3, 1973. After the death of Louis, Lorraine moved back to live at Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Tille; and two brothers, Laverne (KellY) Jones and Lester Jones. Kenneth died by drowning in flood waters July 25, 1993 near Eddyville, Iowa in Mahaska County. He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery, north of Knoxville.
Alfred married Patricia Goemaat and their children are Jennifer, Jason and Jamie. Kenneth married Shirley Damman and their two boys are Blake and Nicholas. Alfred and Kenneth were in the Air Force.
