FUNERAL FOR TOWN SCHLEY WOMAN TO BE HELD THURSDAY

Mrs. Rosa Barske Dies After Illness of Four Months' Duration - Survived by Son and Daughter

The funeral of Mrs. Rosa Barske, mother of Mrs. Paul Schneider, town of Schley, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday from the Schneider residence where she lived since 1920 and at 1 p.m. from the Seventh Day Adventist church here, Rev. Harold Peterson officiating.

Mrs. Barske, who was 79 years and a native of Rochester, N.Y., where she was born on Oct. 23, 1856, died early Monday at the Schneider home after an illness of about four months. She was the widow of the late William Barske, and formerly lived at Elkader, Ia.

Surviving her are her daughter, Mrs. Schneider, and a son, Will; two sisters, Mrs. George Schrampfer, McGregor, Ia., and Mrs. John Leuchtenmacher, Elkader, Ia, and nine grandchildren. The body will be taken to Elkader in the Taylor hearse for interment on Friday.
