ROCKWELL, WILLIAM FREEMAN - Aged 83 years, 10 months, 17 days, a well known resident of Nicholson Township, near Masontown, for fifty-five years, died in his home, Wednesday, September 30, 1959 at 8:50 a.m. He was a member of the Mennonite Church, Masontown. He was a son of the late Caleb and Margaret Rockwell.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Williams Rockwell and these children, Brown at home; Glenn, Masontown; Mrs. Harry (Martha) Gray, Nemacolin; Lloyd and Elmer, Smithfield, R.D. 2; Wendell, Uniontown; John, Masontown; twenty grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Townsend.

Friends will be received after 1 p.m. today at the Honsaker Funeral Home, Masontown, until Saturday at noon and in the Masontown Mennonite Church from 1 until 2 p.m., the hour of service. The Rev. Paul Roth and Rev. A. J. Metzler will officiate.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
