John Baer Rockwell aged 84 years and 19 days, a janitor in the Revere school, South Union township, for the past five years, died at his home, house 33, Revere, Saturday morning, March 7, 1942 at 3:30 o'clock of complications. He had been a resident of Revere for the past 25 years.

Surviving are five children, Edward Rockwell at home; Mrs. Ida Kuhns of Detroit; Mrs. Mary Little of Revere; Mrs. Bertha Williams of Herbert and Mrs. Olive Hobaugh of Footedale Road; a sister, Mrs. Mary Walls of Los Angeles, California, three brothers, Samuel Newcomer Rockwell and Cabel and William Freeman Rockwell of Masontown; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. A. J. McCloy of the New Salem Christian Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery under the direction of C. B. Dearth, Sons of New Salem.

Serving as pallbearers will be Benjamin Silman, Springer Rockwell, Clark Holliday, Harry Holliday, Lee Harshman and Edward Nelson.
