Gary Wayne Baker, 53, son of the late Elias Wallace and Mildred Puckett Baker, died Saturday, April 28. Survivors are five siblings, James Wallace Baker of Nicholasville, Malenda Baker and husband George Johns of Garrard County, Bonnie Baker Best of Lexington, Elizabeth Baker and husband Jerry Spurlock, and Ernel Jean Baker - Baker of Nicholasville; numerous other family members; and good friends Greg and Bryan Becknell, David Cobb, Brandon Baker and Alva Stagner. Gary was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert "Bunny", Allen Thomas and McKinley 'Kenny" Baker. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Fellowship Church with Rev. Bobby Becknell and Pastor Ron Riley officiating. Burial will be in Cliffland Farm Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at the church. Donations to assist with funeral cost

Survivors are five siblings, James Wallace Baker of Nicholasville, Malenda (George) Johns of Garrard County, Bonnie Best of Lexington, Elizabeth (Jerry) Spurlock and Jean Baker of Nicholasville, numerous other family members, good friends, Greg and Bryan Becknell, David Cobb, Brandon Baker and Alva Stagner. Gary was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Allen and Kenny Baker. Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at New Hope Fellowship Church with Rev. Bobby Becknell and Pastor Ron Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Cliffland Farm Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the church. Bearers will be Greg and Bryan Becknell, Brandon Baker, Bryan Callihan, David Cobb and Alva Stagner. Honorary Bearers will be Eddie Baker, Eddie Cook, Sam Hughes and Mike Kinney.
