Gary Wayne Baker, 53, son of the late Elias Wallace and Mildred Puckett Baker, died Saturday, April 28. Survivors are five siblings, James Wallace Baker of Nicholasville, Malenda Baker and husband George Johns of Garrard County, Bonnie Baker Best of Lexington, Elizabeth Baker and husband Jerry Spurlock, and Ernel Jean Baker - Baker of Nicholasville; numerous other family members; and good friends Greg and Bryan Becknell, David Cobb, Brandon Baker and Alva Stagner. Gary was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert "Bunny", Allen Thomas and McKinley 'Kenny" Baker. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Fellowship Church with Rev. Survivors are five siblings, James Wallace Baker of Nicholasville, Malenda (George) Johns of Garrard County, Bonnie Best of Lexington, Elizabeth (Jerry) Spurlock and Jean Baker of Nicholasville, numerous other family members, good friends, Greg and Bryan Becknell, David Cobb, Brandon Baker and Alva Stagner.
