Leonard Benjamin Amberman, age 6 months old, died on December 27, 1889. He was the son of Benjamin "Ben" Clarence Amberman, 1865-1928, and Harriet "Hattie Abrams Amberman, 1871-1911. He was born on June 2nd, 1889 in Jamaca, Queens County, New York and was Ben and Hattie's first child. His parents later had six more children.

Lenny was survived by his parents: Ben and Hattie; his paternal grandmother Mary "Mollie" Mills Amberman, 1822-1896; and his maternal grandparents: Elbert Edward Abrams, 1833-1898, and Elizabeth Morrison Abrams, 1838-1914. He was buried at Springfield Gardens, Jamaica, Queens.
