Died at his home near Andover, Day Co., S. Dakota, on the 21st day of Feb. 1894. Deceased who was 50 years of age, was born in Willow Springs, Lafayette County, Wis., where he lived for many years. He leaves a wife and daughter. He was the son of the late Joseph Bailey, who came to Wisconsin about 1830. His father and oldest brother died in California, his mother died about 1875. His sister Mrs. Wm. Houston died at Clark, South Dakota in 1890 and his sister Mrs. William Johnson died in Willow Springs the same year. Mr. Bailey was the last of the family and that death will be regretted by many old settlers.
