Joseph M. Adams, 87, of Mennonite Home, died Thursday at the home. Adams worked more than 30 years for the former RCA Corp. He retired in 1987. An Army Air Forces veteran, he served stateside as a staff sergeant during World War II. He was a member of the former St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Lancaster, Elks Club of Lancaster and Traveler's Club. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late William A. and Daisy Mehaffey Adams. Surviving is a brother, Daniel M. of Kenner, La. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, William A. Jr, Robert and John; and six sisters, Dorothy Schenk, Margaret Fellman, Ethel Adams, Elizabeth Hoff, Ruth Marrow and Nellie Traygesser.
