Mr. Tesney, 70 years old, died Tuesday at the Miner Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1917, in Hackleburg, Ala., the son of Lee and Mae Clark Tesney. He and the former Ethel Lee Howell were married Aug. 21, 1939.
He was employed at Marshall Durbin Industries, retiring in 1982. He moved to Bertrand five years ago, and was a member of the First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Hugh D. and Roger D. Tesney; three daughters, Betty Morrow, Nelda Creek and Frankie Turner; two brothers, Cliff and Glen Tesney; two sisters, Lorene Hinley and Lena Frederick; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded by two brothers.
