SCHILDROTH, Collette - 1938 - 2008. Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2008 at Victoria Hospice in Victoria, B.C., after a year-long battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Don Schildroth for 49 years and loving mother of Vicky Schildroth and Lisa (David) Stacey. Grandmother of Andrew Stacey and William Stacey. Collette is survived by her mother, Iona Vaillant; brothers, Ken (Joan), Roland (Bella) and Denis, and sisters, Dorothy Hirsch and Lynn (Keith) Wood. Predeceased by her father, Treffle; brother, Dorian and her sisters, Carol Lambert, Myrna Westerlaken and Connie (Walter) Gusek. Many nieces, nephews and good friends will also mourn her loss. At Collette's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
