Eileen Ruth Rasmussen Stover, 82 of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept 13 2001, at her residence.
Friends and family may gather on Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cloverdale Funeral Home for visitation. Funeral Mass well be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday Sept 20, at Holy Apostle Catholic Church in Meridian. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday Sept 21 at Clark County Cemetery Dubois, Idaho.
Eileen Ruth Rasmussen Stover was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Dubois, the eight child of Agnes and Henry Rasmussen. She resided in Dubois until she married Robert Stover in Salt Lake City on Nov. 20, 1940. She and Bob lived in Pocatello, Idaho, when they were first married and subsequently moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, Twin Falls, Idaho and Boise where they have resided since 1959 prior to moving to Boise.
Eileen was a homemaker, however, she worked for Blue Lakes Country Club in Twin Falls in the 1950s and the Boise city schools from 1974 to 1982. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and her daughters, and she and Bob took frequent trips after his retirement. Her primary interests were her family.
Although she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boise, her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Apostle Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stover and six of her seven siblings.
