Donald J. Reynolds, 81 of 205 East First St., Corning, NY, died Thursday August 15, 2013 in the Corning Hospital.

Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Dorothy M. (Kniffin) Reynolds,
his mother, Dorothy survives. Don attended school number three in Corning. He was a Laborer, employed by Corning Glass Works, Corning, NY for almost four decades. Don was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Corning. He was an avid NY Yankees fan, and loved bowling with a passion. He bowled on several Corning leagues and later with ARC of Chemung County.

Surviving besides his Mother are three sisters: Karen (Larry) Gorges of Corning, NY; Marilyn Reynolds-Straub of Wintergreen, VA and Susan (Robert) Rullman of Waynesboro, VA and one brother, Charles Reynolds III of Alpine, NY; twelve nieces and nephews, thirty-one great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and Uncle Frank (Laura) Reynolds. We were blessed by having Donnie as our son, brother and uncle.

Friends will be received Sunday, August 25th from 1:00 to 2:30pm at the Phillips Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney St. in Corning, where services will follow at 2:30pm with Pastor Marraine Kettell officiating. Burial will be in Beaver Dams Cemetery, Beaver Dams.
