Lenora Dragoo Barclay was born Aug 7, 1877 at Bedford, the daughter of Reuben and Ruth Maxwell Brown, and died Nov. 22, 1970 at Whitehaven in Brookfield. She was married to Edwin H. Barclay Nov 1, 1905 and he preceded her in death Feb 9, 1960.
Mrs. Barclay is survived by two sons, Ralph, Medford, Ore., and Paul, Atchison, Kan., three daughters, Mrs. Mary Reams, Brookfield, Mrs. LaVera Peery, Laclede, and Mrs. Alma Hyde, Kansas City, a step-daughter, Mrs. Blanche Head, Purdin, nine grandchildren, six step-grandchidren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
She was a member of the Linneus Methodist Church.
Memorial services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wright Funeral Home, Linneus, with the Rev. W. C. Allen conducting. Interment was made in the IOOF Cemetery.
