Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Raymond was born on August 15, 1940 in Solen, ND to Michael and Mary (Lipp) Glass. He was raised and educated in Bismarck and in 1959 he joined the US Army. He married Eileen Ehlis in 1963 in Bismarck and together had four children. In 1997 he married Lola Lindbo in Deadwood.
Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and watching sports especially the Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
He was a journeyman electrician for 42 years and was a member of the IBEW. Raymond was always willing to share his electrical skills with family and friends. Throughout his lifetime he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Eagles, Moose and the Bismarck Amvets.
He is survived by his wife Lola, of Bismarck, three sons, Todd Glass, of Renton, WA, Terry (Cindy) Glass, of Gig Harbor, WA, Thomas (Kathy) Glass, of Bismarck, one daughter, Tamara
(J. P.) Pirio, of Federal Way, WA, four grandchildren (Emily, Erica, Ella, Tanner), two step-grandchildren. He is also survived by four stepchildren, Sarah (Ray) Zinke, Lori Webber, Darla Prociv, Michael Prociv, five step grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren, two brothers, Kenny Glass and Butch (Nancy) Glass, two sisters, Luella Swoboda and Darlene "Dottie" (Jerry) Horner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary, four brothers, Abraham, Marvin, Eugene and Joseph.
