Eliza Harriet Fuller was born to Joseph Fuller and Molly (Storey) Fuller on December 13, 1815 in Norton, Massachusetts.
At some time when she was in her early teens her family moved to Lysander, New York. In the mid to late 1830's she married David Carpenter and they moved to the township of Freedom in Wood County, Ohio, where they had three children, Lewis, Alice, and Laura Carpenter.
Eventually they moved to Michigan and had three more children, Luna, Edwin, and Don Carpenter.
She died on October 23, 1907 in Tustin, Michigan at the age of 91.
