Frances Rita (Vaughn) Boenigk, 94, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Evansville Protestant Home. She was born February 14, 1922 to the late John and Cecilia (Schick) Vaughn.

Frances was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She is a 1943 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Pharmacy. Frances served in the US Women’s Army Corp. as a pharmacist in Hot Springs, AK. She retired in 1984 from St. Mary’s Medical Center as I.V. Admixture and Pharmacist. She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, playing bridge, classical music, and traveling.

She is survived by three sons.

She is preceded in death by her husband John W. Boenigk, son, Michael L. Boenigk, and several brothers and sisters.
