Robert Rowley Mecham 87, of Phoenix, AZ died Feb. 12, 2011 in the AZ Veterans Home in Phoenix, AZ. He was born in Provo, UT to the late Rowley and Eva (Jensen) Mecham on Jan. 24, 1924. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific Islands. He was a retired Chiropractor / Naturopathic physician graduating in 1955 from Western States College in Portland, OR. His practice was in Casper, WY. He later worked in the personal development and health food industries in AZ. He is survived by his children Dan (Sue) and Rick (Ronette) Mecham; Anne (Elvis) Tippets; siblings Donald (Viola) Mecham, James (Priscilla) Mecham, Lola Marie (David) Patten; 12 grandchildren and his former wives Melba Whitney and Rowena Roberts. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Carol (Vern) Farmer, Grace (Carl) Clegg, Richard (Helen) Mecham, Mary (Tom) O'Neal Lamb and Linda (William - surviving) Brown. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Mechelle, Tennelle, Terelle, Derren and Brenden Tippets; Laurie, Scott, Brian and David Mecham; McKell, Lexi and Landon Mecham. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Phoenix at the Paradise Sunset Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery on Mar. 3, 2011 at 3:30 PM in Orem, UT.
