Car Crash Kills John G. Dixon
John G Dixon, 52, Charleston salesman for a Chicago meat packing firm, died yesterday in Bluefield following a collision of his car and a bus.
It is reported that Mr. Dixon died of a heart attack brought on by the accident rather than any injuries incurred in the crash.
No one else was reported injured in the wreck. The bus, operated by the Reynolds Transportation Co., was empty except for the driver.
The body will be taken from Bluefield to his native city of Portsmouth, O., for funeral services and burial.
Mr. Dixon is survived by his widow, Mrs. Thelma Dixon, and a daughter Diana.
The Dixons residents of Charleston for the past year and a half, lived at 523 Greenbrier St.

BLUEFIELD, Nov. 20--(AP)-- A Charleston man died tonight in a collision between hes automobile and a bus in downtown Bluefield.
The victim was identified at a hospital as John G. Dixon, 52, a salesman for a Chicago meat firm.
First indications were that Dixon died of a heart attack brought on by the wreck rather than from injuries.
He was alone in a car which collided with a Reynolds Transportation Co. bus. No passengers were aboard the bus and the driver, Madison Carr, was unhurt.
In Charleston, neighbors said Dixon left on a selling trips twice a week. He went to Bluefield yesterday morning they said.
Dixon who had lived in West Virginia about a year and a half, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Dixon and a daughter, Diana.
