ROBERT WALKER
Robert L. Walker, 58, of Evansville died at 12:50 p.m. yesterday at home after an illness. Mr. Walker owned RL Walker Insurance Agency and he was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. He had enjoyed golf. Surviving are his wife, Jayne, whom he married on May 28, 1988; a daughter, Lana Walker of Independence, MO; stepdaughters, Jina Wedding and Juli Huss both of Evansville; brothers Gary and Steve of Evansville and Joe of Marietta, GA; his mother, Helen Walker of Evansville; grandchildren Cory Walker and MacKenzie Nieten; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at 10 am tomorrow at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel with the Rev Conrad Groesnick officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum (Cemetery). Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family said friends if they wish may make memorial contributions to Deaconess Ohio Valley Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
