Jerry Dale Adkisson, three years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Adkisson, died at the family home near here at 8 a. m. Monday, after an illness of two years. The child had been in a hospital at Cairo, Ill., and last Saturday was taken to a hospital in St. Louis for a diagnosis.
Funeral services were held at the Pinhook Church of God Tuesday, March 23, at 2 p. m. Rev. Paul Presson officiating. Interment was in W. O. W. Cemetery with Shelby’s Funeral Service in charge.
Besides the parents, the child is survived by five brothers, Paul Ralph, Jack, Harold, and Billy Lee; three sisters, Thelma, Lawanda, and Virginia Sue, all al home; the maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Tanner, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Adkisson, also of East Prairie.
