STERLING - Services for Mrs. Catherine Boyers, 510 Ave. B, who died Tuesday in the home of a nephew, Dr. John McDonnell, 401 W. 10th St., will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. in the Grennan and Son Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Wednesday night.
Surviving are two sisters, including Mrs. T. J. McDonnell, Sterling. Mrs. Boyers' husband, Dennis, died previously. (Morning Star, Rockford, IL, October 7, 1959)
