Andrew Milton Tooman was b Dec. 14, 1853 in Van Buren County, Ohio. He died Jan. 26, 1934 at the home of his son Leroy in Milan, Michigan. In 1876 he married Harriet L. Oliver and they had 13 children, two dying in infancy. In 1910 he moved from Liepsic, OH to Milan, Michigan where he lived until four years ago (1930) when he moved to Belmore, OH. His wife died there March 10, 1932. After that he lived with his children, as follows: Mrs. Gertrude Harmon of Upper Sandusky, OH; Mrs. Etta Critchett of Liepsic, OH; Mrs. Alice Swaninger of Belmore, OH; Mrs. Ethel Harris of Ypsilanti, MI; Mrs. Lena Heath of Milan, Mich; Guy of Continental, OH; Clarence of Belmore, OH; Harry of Azalia, MI; and Leroy, Lloyd and Chester of Milan, MI. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Melvina Radabaugh of Liepsic, OH and brother Charles Tooman of Toledo, OH. Andrew Tooman was a life member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Wolverine Lodge No. 197, Milan, MI.
