Mabel K. Wyman, 77, a retired school treasurer for the New Paltz Central School District and longtime resident of New Paltz, died July 4, 2007 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
Daughter of Harry Kingston and Madea Schultz, she was born September 11, 1929 in Troy. She was the widow of John Wyman, who she married in August 1980 at Mohonk Mountain House. He predeceased her May 16, 2007.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and charter member of the New Paltz Bowling League. She was also a member of Dutch Reformed Church in New Paltz.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Cuthbert of Accord and Keith Cuthbert of Hopkinton, Massachusetts; daughter, Judith Butler of New Paltz; one sister, Kathy Horbund of Los Angeles, California; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her first husband, William Cuthbert and one sister, Beatrice "Skip."
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Mabel's name.
