Some time before 1840, the family moved to Alleghany County, NY, but by 1851 most of them were living in Brant County, Ontario and by 1861 in nearby Norfolk County. In the 1870s and 80s, the family had scattered. A few remained in Canada, but several others moved to Michigan.
