Mrs. Della Mary Burt, 73, of Waco died February 3, 1988 at a Temple hospital.

Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, February 5 at Connally-Compton Downtown Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. February 6 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Monsignor Mark Deering as celebrant. Burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. Burt was born April 25, 1914, in Leroy. She lived most of her life in Waco. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Highland Baptist Bible Study Group and Right to Life Organization. She served as an Army nurse in England during World War II and worked as a registered nurse at the Waco State Home for more than 20 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Hyacinth Burt of Austin; three sisters, Josephine Dvoracek of West, Helen Newman of Waco and Rita Snokhous of Leroy; and five brothers, Eddie Vrba of Temple, August Vrba of Tours, Raymond Vrba of San Antonio, and Tony Vrba and Eugene Vrba, both of Waco.
