She worked for Jeans Hosiery Mill as a knitter for a number of years. Mrs. Agan was Methodist by faith and a faithful member of Union Hill Methodist Church as long as her health permitted.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Aster V. Agan, Sr. (1915-1991 age 76) and her sons, Aster V. Agan, Jr., Clarence Agan, Dale Agan, and Joe Agan.
Survivors include her daughter and sons-in-laws, Sarah and Bill Gustafson, Dorothy and Johnny Smith both of Villa Rica; and Ruth and Phil Brown of Winston; son, Tommy Agan of Villa Rica; daughter in law, Lindel Agan of Villa Rica; sisters, Janez Argo of Whitesburg and Carrie Mae Odom of Carrollton; brothers, Bobby Bohannon (Magdalene) of Forest Park, and Frank Bohannon of Douglasville; 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren also survive.
