The funeral of Mrs. Mollie Creed, mother of Mrs. Henry Dempsey, has been postponed until 2 p.m. Thursday because of delay in the arrival of two sons; James and Orlie of Kalamazoo, Mich. A telegram received yesterday late, stated they could not get here until late today.
The service will be held at Spring Valley and interment will be at Spring Valley cemetery.

NOTE: As of July 2013 I have been unable to locate a headstone within Spring Valley Cemetery. Speaking with Mary's grand-daughter Hazel, she says that Mary is buried next to her daughter Georgia Owens Dempsey within the cemetery. I will continue to look.
NOTE: In summer or 2014 I have located a small cup like object that would be used to place flower urn. It was located approximately 3 foot north from headstone of Mary's daughter (Georgia). I am unable to confirm that this is indeed Mary McDermott (Owen-Creed) burial site. I do note that there is an unsettlement of the ground at the burial site. I will continue to search for any record as to if this is indeed Mary McDermott (Owen-Creed). SMc.
