CLARICE SMITH BLAKELY, 82, of Memphis, homemaker, died Sunday at her home after a heart attack. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with graveside services at 2 p.m. in Union Cemetery in Sardis, Miss. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church for 46 years and a member of Fidelis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Blakely, the widow of W. D. Blakely, leaves a daughter, Linda Blakely Watkins of Memphis; a son, Dalton Blakely Jr. of Bartlett; three sisters, Lou Matthews, Lois Morris and Birdie Herron, all of Memphis, five grandchildren and three great-grand-children. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Leawood Baptist Church.
