BIRDIE HERRON, 86, of Memphis, homemaker, died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital North after a heart attack. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. She was a member of Merton Street Baptist Church for 53 years. Mrs. Herron, the widow of William Herron, leaves two daughters, Bobbie Bailey and Jo Ann Bailey, both of Memphis; a son, Alfred Herron of Olive Branch; two sisters, Lou Matthews and Lois Morris, both of Memphis, 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
