Mrs. E. Pearl McDonald

Mrs. E. Pearl McDonald, 75, 1900 Seabrook, died Sunday at a Topeka hospital following a sudden illness.
She was born Aug. 22, 1904, at Larned, the daughter of William Walter and Sarah Phillips Fugua (sic). She had lived in Topeka most of her life.

Mrs. McDonald operated the Sarah Fugua (sic) Nursing Home in Topeka for 38 years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and its Missionary Society, the Business and Professional Women's Club and the Retired BPW Club.

She married Lester McDonald in 1936 in Topeka. He died Feb. 22, 1970.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Grace Bradford, 1900 Seabrook.

Services are pending at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
