Milano - Graveside funeral services for Sidney Schaaf, long-time first-grade teacher at Rockdale Elementary School were held January 13 in the Milano Cemetery. Rev. Morris Cook of First Baptist Church, Rockdale, officiated. Mrs. Schaaf died on a Monday at Manor Oaks Nursing Home. She had been a longtime Milano resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Schaaf. Survivors include two sisters, Laverne Motheral of San Antonio and Nonnie M. Blackburn of Rockdale; also three nieces and three nephews.
