MRS. NORTH DIES AT GRAND RIDGE
Mrs. Phoebe North, 83, for many years a resident of Ottawa and Grand Ridge. She was stricken with a stroke earlier in the day while sitting at the breakfast table.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Gladfelter chapel at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow by the Rev. C.H. Heller, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Grand Ridge. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery.
Born in Hocking County, O., May 23, 1855, Mrs. North was united in marriage March 23, 1876, with James S. North.
Surviving are one son, Beeman North of Ottawa; two daughters, Mrs. William Martin of Ottawa and Mrs. Fred Neuman of Grand Ridge; six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Applegate of Hocking County, O., and Mrs. Mary Cosgray of Idaville, Ind.
Mrs. North was preceded in death by her husband and several brothers and sisters. (Wm & SJ. Donath #48116482)
