He is survived by his wife, Ethel Hamm Barker; six daughters, Lettie Mae Barker, Betty Barker, both at home; Mrs. Arvinia Hart, Thomasville, NC; Mrs. Bobbie Taylor, Falls Church, VA; Mrs. Mary James, Grant; Mrs. Alma Joines, Sparta, NC; and seven sons, Dexter, Bland, VA; Clarence, Havre de Grace, MD; Ray, Baltimore, MD; Garnett, Elkton, MD; Robert and Bill, Marion; Herbert, Troutdale; and two brothers, Courtney and Carson.
Interment was in Comer Cemetery.
