MRS. MARY F. HAVEN
Mrs. Mary F. Haven, widow of Bishop Erastus O. Haven, of the M. E. Church, died on April 21, 1912, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Moss, Urbana, Ill., in the 87th year of her age.
She was born at Rhinebeck, N. Y., Nov. 1, 1825, and was a daughter of Rev. George Coles, of the New York Conference. Her husband, Erastus O. Haven, was created a Bishop in 1880 and died the following year. She was the mother of Rev. Theodore W. Haven, who is pastor of the M.E. Churches at Hayiland Hollow, Holmes and New Fairfield. She leaves, beside him, another son, Dr. A. C. Haven, of Lake Forest, Ill, and two daughters, Mrs. Moss, at whose home she died,
and Mrs. Draper, wife of Rev. G. Frank Draper, of Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Draper is the son of the late Rev. Gideon Draper, a former pastor of Drew M. E. Church, Carmel.
Mrs. Haven's remains were brought to Somers and buried in the cemetery there beside her father, Rev. Mr. Coles, who died in 1858.
