FERDINAND KOEHLER

Ferdinand Koehler, 71, retired Town of Charlestown farmer, died at Calumet Memorial Hospital Friday. He had been in the hospital only four days, but in failing health for several years.

He was born in the Town of Charlestown March 31, 1895, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Erhard Koehler, and was married to Rosalie Egerer April 17, 1923, at Kloten. She died July 29, 1957. Mr. Koehler was a farmer in the Town of Charlestown until his retirement 18 years ago.
Surviving are a son, LeRoy, Town of Charlestown; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Brandenburg, Sheboygan; a sister, Mrs. William Schaefer, Milwaukee, and 11 grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at St. Martin's Catholic Church, the Rev. Arnulf Buck, pastor, the celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
