Addison Hayden, 66, former farmer and later local carpenter, died at 6 a.m. Tuesday at his home, 612 South Twentieth street, following a two-year illness with diabetes. Born near Stockwell, he married Gertrude Storms in 1898 and was a member of the local Christian church and the Masonic order. Surviving are the widow; a son, Harold, Lafayette, and a daughter, Mrs. Charles McKendrie, Jr. The body was taken to the Dwight Baker funeral home, Dayton, and will be brought to the Soller-Baker funeral home here, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Services at the Soller-Baker funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Doyle Mullen officiating; burial in Stockwell cemetery.
