Son of Martin M. and Mary E. Rogers Galloway. Husband of Maggie L. Harless Galloway. Zook grew up in Hempstead and Nevada Counties of Arkansas and followed his father in the timber/lumber business and managing sawmill operations in Louisiana. He also farmed and raised his family at Simpson, Louisiana. In later years he and Maggie moved to Leesville. He was loved dearly by his children and grandchildren.
