Daughter of William Wallace Cluff and Ann Whipple. Lillian married John Franc Pawlas 23 April 1898 at Brigham City, UT. They had three children; John Cluff (1900-1982), Marian Lenore (1902-1986) and Lillian Arlowen (1905-1982). They are together in the 1900 Ogden, UT Census with newly born son Cluff.

John was born in 1875 in Austria and died in 1908 in Montana in a railroad accident.

Lillian remarried in about 1909 Given Addison Light. He was born in about 1876 in Pennsylvania and died in 1939. They are together along with Lillian's children in the 1910 and 1920 Salt Lake City, UT Census'.

By 1930 Lillian is living in Lynwood, CA with her daughter Lillian and her daughter's husband Jack Janney. Also in the household is her grandson Jackling Janney and daughter Marian L. Martin who was married to Benjamin Franklin Martin. Benjamin Martin died in 1927.

In 1940 Lillian is living in Los Angeles, CA with daughter Marian who was making a living as a nurse. By this time Marian had remarried (1932) and divorced (by 1940) Arthur L. Harris and was again going by Marian L. Martin.

Lillian died of a cerebral hemorage caused by hypertension.
