Survived by wife, Bertha; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Porter, Columbus, Ind. and Mrs. Boyd Coppock, Logansport; sister, Mrs. Laura Deckard, Smithville, and grandchildren. Funeral 2:30 P. M. Wednesday at Clear Creek, Rev. George Wyatt and Rev. W. E. Moore officiating. Burial Clear Creek. Body remains at the home. Will lie in state at the church hour before services. Active casket bearers: David Deckard, Russell Rhorer, Paul Rhorer, Walter Adams, William J. Adams and Harold Mitchell. Honorary: Loebe Warring, Ora Floyd, George Setser, Ed Adams, Grover Shields and William H. Adams.

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at Clear Creek for George L. Adams, 74-year old former Perry township trustee, who died Monday at his home on Route Four.

Mr. Adams was one of the outstanding farmers of the community and an active worker in the Democrat party. He was elected to the office of trustee in a Republican township even though a candidate on the Democrat ticket.

In addition to his wife, Mrs. Bertha Adams, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Roy Porter of Columbus, Indiana and Mrs. Boyd Coppock of Logansport; one sister, Mrs. Laura Deckard of Smithville, and several grandchildren.

Active casket bearers were: David Deckard, Russell Rhorer, Paul Rhorer, Walter Adams, William J. Adams and Harold Mitchell. Honorary: Loebe Warring, Ora Floyd, George Setser, Ed Admams, Grover Shields, and William H. Adams.
