Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie M. Pering, 75-year-old veteran school teacher and resident of 508 South Lincoln Street, were held at 1 p. m. today at the First Christian church and with the Rev. W. W. Moore officiating.
Pallbearers were Roy Porter, Boyd Coppock, William Adams, Russell Rhorer, David Deckard and Fred Blewett. Flower bearers were Miss Virginia Fhorer, Miss Stella Shepp, Miss Frances Johnson, Miss Emily Johnson and Mrs. Bertha Stewart. Burial of the well-known teacher, the widow of Clint Pering, was in the Clear Creek cemetery.
