Funeral services for Willie Virgie Baggett, 79, Benton City, were held at Martin's Crestview Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Baggett died August 20, 1973 at Prosser Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 25, 1894, in Alabama and has been a resident of Benton City sine 1955. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Benton City.
Among survivors are a daughter, Beulah Knight of Benton City; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Edith Allen, Malden, MO., and Mrs. Ella Wright, Vicksburg, Miss., a brother, Jesse Turner, and a sister, Mrs. Lula Allen, both Kerman, Calif.; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
The Rev. J. Paul Chase of Benton City will officiate. Private internment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Benton City.
